The World Open is designed to be fair, safe, and positive for skaters at every level.
Videos are judged based on what judges can clearly see, not on fancy filming or editing. A simple phone video is enough. Your skater does not need professional equipment, special effects, or risky elements to do well.
Safety always comes first. Skaters should only perform skills they are comfortable and confident with. Trying to do something unsafe or far beyond their ability can lead to disqualification, not higher scores.
The goal of the World Open is to reward:
Not pressure.
Not comparison.
Not forcing progression.
If your skater is proud of what they filmed and it represents their real skating, it is a good submission.
