We start with a blank page. You recruitment process is the place where opportunities and talents flourish and that Careers Page should be a great representation of that.

The basics for a smooth CP:

  1. Show case your narrative:

This is the digital front door to your company. It's where you narrate your story and provide a sneak peek into who you are, the culture you want to create and what sets your startup apart.A well-crafted narrative will attractive talents aligned with your vision and your voice.

  1. "Open Positions" section its not just a display of roles:

it's an invitation and a place for a community to be form. All the great talent that are aligned with your story and have the skills and background you need to build this. Something that I love to add is a a glimpse into what roles you're contemplating in the coming months. It's like saying, "Here's what we're building now, and here's where we envision heading next."   1. Too many details?

Simply and straight forward… It is important to keep the core competencies under 6 bullet points because we want a diverse team, right? This approach is rooted in research findings, such as the insights shared here, indicating that exceeding this limit may reduce applications from female candidates and we jus’t don’t really want that.

  1. Philosophy:

Let everybody know your principles and values to your hiring so they can show themselves at their best. This is a compass guide to potential hires. When you articulate what you value in your team, you attracted like-minded individuals. Do you prioritize potential over experience? Credential over Results? Share it in your CP.

  1. Adapt & Thrive Vows:

Acknowledging that talent knows no geographical bounds, your “Adapt & Thrive Vows” also know as your hiring policies should be your inclusion statement. It tells candidates that you are building a community that adapts and thrives together, irrespective of physical distances, backgrounds or credentials.

  1. The “Ground Floor Impact” section:

Your unique value proposition and the exciting opportunity for candidates to contribute to building something meaningful. • Emphasize that joining now means having a direct impact on shaping the foundation of the company. Candidates will play a pivotal role in defining its culture, values, and future trajectory.

• Highlight your startup commitment to creativity. Candidates will have the chance to bring fresh ideas and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Put in BOLD the collaborative nature of the early-stage team. Express how every member's contribution is significant an has a huge impact.

• Emphasize the autonomy and ownership that early team members will have. They'll be co-owners, they will write it with you and that takes ownership and self-agency.

  1. Core strenght:

Your culture and core values are the pillars upon which your startup stands. Expressing them on your Careers Page it's again, an invitation for the right people to join a community that resonates with their beliefs.
