One size does not fit all. Different users have different needs. That's why we now have the ability to create multiple start pages. Maybe you create one for each department (Sales, Consulting, Service desk) or maybe you have one for About Lime CRM (where you have links to tips & tricks, customer specific user manuals, etc.). The user than picks the one that they want. And can easily change at any time. We hope that this will make the start page much more relevant for each user.
Create as many start pages as you like. One for each department, maybe?
In Lime Admin, you add, arrange and resize widgets very similar to how you design card views. No CSS, that is. Enter the name of your widget, choose a placement and sizeThis, we hope, will lower configuration time by 10 times and lead to way less table flips.

We have re-done the todo and salespipe widget. These two widgets are now treated as any other widget and can be placed, resized and removed just like any other widget. The filter set picker now also remembers which filter set you picked and the list of available filter sets is not hard-coded.
The todo-widget doesn't necessarily needs to be used for todos. You can use it for tickets, checklist items, project tasks or have one for each.
The todo widget can easily be configured to hold any lime type. Tickets or companies, for example. Or projects, activities, checklist items…

You no longer need to configure three start pages; one for desktop, one for tablet and one for phone screen sizes. We've done it so that one configuration will work for all screen sizes. Much time saved.
All widgets now have very similar look (colors, headings, corners, etc.). We also make much better use of the screen size and do not leave blank spaces on the sides.
The concept of pre-defined widget sizes will also lead to the pages looking and behaving better.
