The easiest way of importing files into mudstack is via drag & drop! You can also use the Upload files
buttons.
To drag and drop, just select the files you want and drag them into mudstack. Where you are in the app when you import files determines where the files are stored.
Files can be uploaded into mudstack without being assigned to a library. This arrangement allows you maximum flexibility in organizing files the way your team chooses.
While in the Files
view, files imported will be unassigned to a specific library.
If you're viewing a specific library, imported files will automatically be part of that library.
Import new versions of a file by dragging and dropping while in the Versions
view of the file.
Import attachments for a file by dragging and dropping while in the Attachments
view of a file.
mudstack's combination of Libraries and Tags gives you the freedom to organize files along any mental model your team chooses. Libraries and/or tags can correlate to teams, projects, collections, sprints, scenes etc. You decide how to use this flexibility, and forget about complicated file naming conventions!
