Based on my experience and research while I’m doing a profession as a UX Writer, I realize my position as a UX Writer should be involved in some phase of product development. I’m not saying this is the fixed workflow for the UX Writer, and it’s not always necessary to do it for all on every brainstorming moment. But at least, as a UX Writer, I need to know a few particular things to support me write better copies for a digital product.
Every product development is always related to the Design Thinking process, without it, we can’t create a better product that can sustainably serve the user.
As a UX Writer, the goal in this phase is to understand deeply about the users. So that I can understand how do I approach the user? What kind of language I can use to speak to the user? The example of the questions might be like these:
The goal in this phase is to get deep into the actual problem of the user. How exactly do we define the problem that exists? How can we understand what the user feels about the problem? In this phase, we still need to do more research and interview the user to get deeper into the problem.
