Be kind: This library is meant to help candidates negotiate, an extremely challenging, anxiety-inducing process that impacts self-worth. Underrepresented minorities and women have been taught over centuries to NOT advocate for themselves, and the social experience of every intersection looks different. Please be kind, considerate, and genuine in your comments!
Be inclusive: 81cents is a mission-driven organization pushing for pay equity for historically marginalized individuals. We do not tolerate racism or sexism and expect our community to support these values.
Be open: Transparency is core to advancing pay parity. Please share your learnings, missteps, and data so that others can learn from your experiences - and so that you can learn from others in return!
