What is a Non-ESOS applicant?

Non-ESOS applicants are people who are not ‘domestic students’ but also aren't staying in Australia on a international student visa (which is subject to ESOS legislations).

NON-ESOS visas have a variety of purposes depending on the subclass, however, for the purposes of residency, they have less work/study restrictions compared to ESOS visas.

What difference does a Non-ESOS visa make when prospects look to apply for RMIT programs?

International students (on an ESOS Visa) must apply for CRICOS registered programs.

Non-ESOS visa holders with study rights, on the other hand, may apply for non-CRICOS registered programs.

In short answer, NO.

There are limited listed of NON-CRICOS programs that are available for non-ESOS applicants.

The NON-CRICOS registered programs available for NON-ESOS applicants will only be made available one intake at a time.
