8. Confirmation Status

Purpose: Track case confirmation levels (Suspect, Probable, Confirmed)

Path: Settings → Lookups → Case Statuses

Fields

• Name
• Description
• Display Order
• Is Active
• Applicable To (Cases Only, Contacts Only, Both)

Creating a confirmation status

1. Click Add Case Status
2. Enter Name (e.g., Confirmed - Laboratory)
3. Enter Description (optional)
4. Select Applicable To
5. Set Display Order
6. Check Is Active
7. Click Create

Common case statuses

• Suspect
• Under Investigation
