During the first session come up with at least three simple constraints and write them down on index cards. You can keep the descriptions minimal or detailed.

Afterwards the cards will be mixed up and you will pick three random constraints and come up with at least three ideas for an illustration using at least 2 constraints in each one.

Examples: no faces, 1-point perspective, symmetrical composition, two styles at once, unusual medium, color and technique, limited number of lines or shapes.

For the second session bring at least three different sketches, including the final format and a general idea of the medium and execution.

For the final session, bring one final illustration. At this point you are free to deviate from the constraints if it improves the piece.
