Hello Everyone!

I am excited to introduce this event along with side Laura Glazer and Jamie Bastello,

braid.ing; an online event to braid hair & stories with others in a time of isolation.

This event was conceptualize through individual conversations and the desire for more intimacy within our lives during COVID-19 isolation, using braiding our hair as the vehicle for sharing and experiencing.

During this time together, we encourage you to braid or do your hair however you would like, with any objects that you would like to place within your hairstyle. We encourage the sharing of stories or memories of when you had your hair braided or what it makes you think of.

We would like to cultivate a space of whimsy, laughter, and "silliness" to enjoy with others.
