Ethereum has already reached millions of people, but to reach the next billion, Ethereum must overcome many gaps in representation across cultures, nationalities, and economic classes.
Enabling human flourishing is challenging business. There are barriers to break, obstacles to overcome, and lessons to be learned. This event is all about those ‘real world’ factors faced by innovators, builders, and changemakers who use Ethereum to create impact.
We hope to create a forum for collaboration and discussion between all Ethereum community members concerned with real-world impact— from OG builders to new members from other domains seeking to learn more about the technology.
You’ll hear about what the Ethereum Foundation Fellows have been working on, such as supporting smallholder farmers in Kenya and India, understanding the unique onboarding challenges for diaspora communities affected by conflict, developing a badges system for youth, onboarding women into blockchain saving circles, enabling access to housing loans to low-income families or contemplating how we can find suitable frameworks for posthumous transfer of digital assets.
