Moonlighting: Employee v/s Employer

It all started with @Wipro’s chairman lying off 300 employees who were found cheating(in his terms)

Rather than anything, it’s about Employees v/s Employers. We at @Fountane think from all perspectives.

Here’s why EMPLOYEES get indulged in it:

1/ Job security

2/ Extra sources of income

3/ Passion/ Interest to fulfil

Everyone needs the money more than ever, the world is in a recession, and no one wants to work multiple jobs. If someone is working over usual hours for an additional cost, the company they work for is significantly in need of evaluation.

Here’s what the EMPLOYERS think:

The decreasing productivity of an individual at the primary job is a company's main worry. Businesses are concerned that splitting one's time between two or more occupations may impair one's capacity to deliver high-quality work.

Disinterest and sense of doing something just for the sake of it at work are what concern employers.

I have highlighted my in-depth views and the conclusion about it in an article. You’ll find the article link in the comment.

Till then, which side do you pick?
