usotsuki is a horror rpg i'm making based on liminal spaces ! rin is the protagonist and other characters can be added to ur party through events and whatnot
the basic plot line is that the 8 girls sent here all died with regrets, and are given a second chance at life if they alone survivor and escape the dream like world they're trapped in
Spirit - Weeping
A 15 year old first year at Michihara comprehensive high school. Rin suffocated to death in her school after her classmates locked her in a closet before summer break.
Rin's liminal space is an empty classroom, windows letting in yellow sunlight. The time of day is always dusk or dawn, the clouds don't move. It smells like ink and markers, while every surface is lined with dust. There's no trace of students in the class, no personality showing through the space. It feels safe, but alone.
A 16 year old second year at Nayuki high school. Miko's mother would abuse and beat her for the smallest mishaps, eventually leading to her being beaten to death. No one grieved.
Miko's liminal space is her childhood bedroom. It feels fuzzy and hurts your head to stay in the room too long. The walls are bland and yellow only accompanied by a twin sized bed tucked in the corner furthest from the door. The ceiling is home to spiders and their webs, while the carpet below is stained and ragged. Your mother tries her best to care for you.

A 16 year old second year at Aoime public school. Yue's former teammates from her days in the baseball club beat her to death and SA'd her after they found her practicing alone near the school.
Yue's liminal space is an empty grass field, obscured by night. The field is endless, if you walk out for too long you may get lost. There are bleachers set up, if you sit too long you'll be dragged under to your death. It's best to leave as soon as possible and not cause others any trouble. There's nothing here for you.
A 16 year old second year at Nayuki high school. Itoko and Miko were childhood best friends, but separated once Itoko fell in love. Miko stabbed Itoko to death in their schools third floor toilet.
Itoko's liminal space is her high schools hallways. The halls are endless, nothing to be seen at the end of the dark tunnel, a lightbulb flickers every so often to guide your way. All you can do is move forward and hope for an escape, no matter what it form that may take.

A 15 year old first year at Aoime public school. Pushed out of the literary clubs classroom window without ever seeing her perpetrator. Kiko was never brought to justice, and her death will forever be a suicide
Kiko's liminal space is an empty white room with one big open window. If you stare out at the light for too long your eyes will melt. Jumping off from the ledge will lead you to a peaceful gentle death as the sky envelops you.
A 17 year old third year at Futanoko girls academy. Momoha was SA'd in a public toilet and discarded. Her body gave out quickly after the unbearable amount of pain.
Momoha's liminal space is a toilet. It's dirty and in need of renovation, the pipes leaking onto the floor mixing with whatever else stains the space. Momoha will not go in no matter how much you plead and beg.

A 17 year old third year at Futanoko girls academy. Tomomi slipped backwards on the wet tiles of an indoor pool, causing the tip of her spine to break through the back of her skull. She died instantly.
Tomomi's liminal space is the indoor pool used by the Futanoko girls swim team. It smells like chlorine. The florescent lights are dim, but blindingly reflect the shiny white pool tiles. It's cold and quiet, you feel your skin growing damp.
