Funding the training

The Apprenticeship Levy is paid by all employers with an annual wage bill of more than £3 million which may then be used to fund their apprenticeship training. Companies that do not hit that threshold (or who have spent all their levy funds) can apply for a “levy transfer” from a larger employer who has not spent their levy funds.

Step 3: Connect PAYE

If you pay the apprenticeship levy and ****have not accessed your levy funds before to pay for apprenticeship training, you will need to associate your PAYE scheme with your apprenticeship account.
