Language is part of our identity. Our use of language shows who we are. As Keidel says, “La langue dans laquelle une personne pense et médite est celle où elle se sent le plus à l’aise pour s’adresser à son dieu,” (2008, 34) which I translated literally as, “The language in which a person thinks and meditates is the one that he/she feels at ease to communicate with his/her god.” (75)
