My response is actually fairly important...
For years now, I've continued to encounter people who say they love 3D touch in particular - even my 70-year-old mother noticed its absence. It's continued to seem more and more fishy when tech media (and Apple implicitly, I guess) insist that nobody liked it, that it only got in the way. Then again, you know before iOS 7 you could Post to Twitter and Facebook from the top of the notification menu without leaving it. I desperately hope apple includes a menu setting to turn app switching by sliding across the very bottom of the screen off... I accidentally trigger it multiple times a day, somehow. I'm only taking the time to post this because I think it's important to keep in mind that Apple's wealth/success does not make them exempt from being beholden to their users. In fact, it could be the exact opposite: we should expect absolute perfection from multiple preferences/perspectives in literally everything they do. the most valuable company on Earth... (sorry about the rant. just know I Stand With You.)
