• Source path: S:\, mapped to \\server05\Operations.
• Approved lane: option B, convert MOVs to compressed MP4 and purge MOV sources only after duration/playability verification.
• MOV files converted, verified, and removed: 1,638.
• Source MOV bytes removed after verification: 946,270,262,838.
• MP4 replacement bytes: 218,300,741,549.
• Net bytes saved versus source MOVs: 727,969,521,289.
• Live MOVs remaining after independent enumeration: 32.

Verification

• Removed MOVs all had readable MP4 replacements and matched duration checks.
• Failed conversions were not deleted.
• One odd-height JPEG2000 PowerPoint animation was manually converted to even-height H.264 MP4, duration matched exactly, and the original was copied to a local exact backup before deletion.
• The 32 remaining MOVs are 4 KB AppleDouble ._*.mov sidecars in Marketing raw video folders. They fail with moov atom not found and cannot meet the approved video playback gate.
