What was done

Sam uploaded bsg-v4-editorial.html (a magazine-style Bigger Share Guarantee® page) and asked whether it beats the current page, to swap it if so, and to make the form work.

• Located the live BSG page: page ID 9286, slug bigger-share-guarantee, parent 46, published. It is on the protected/header-linked list, so overwriting requires explicit approval.
• Backed up current page #9286 raw content for rollback (saved locally to the Design Elements folder).
• Fixed the form (the core ask): the uploaded page posted to a bsg_contact_submit admin-ajax action that does not exist and carried no attribution. Replaced that dead <form> with the firm's working [sal_homepage_intake] shortcode — the same intake the current live BSG page uses. It posts to the /sal/v1/contact-intake REST endpoint with nonce, page_url, referrer, and UTM fields, plus consent checkbox and honeypot, feeding the existing Litify pipeline.
• Removed two !important declarations (deployer gate), confirmed wp:html wrapping, CSS brace balance 167/167, no banned words (only hit was the award name "Multi-Million Dollar Advocates"), uses "Free Case Review" not the banned "Free Consultation."
• Deployed as a non-destructive draft preview: page ID 71146, slug bsg-editorial-v4-preview, with Kadence meta (_kad_post_vertical_padding: hide, _kad_post_layout: fluid) and RankMath fields set.
• QA: briefly published the noindex preview, fetched the fully themed production render (all sections, theme chrome, and the styled working form assembled correctly; calculator math runs), verified all 8 images (hero, Google icon, form photo, all 5 award badges in /wp-content/uploads/bsg-images/) return 200, then reverted to draft.

Recommendation

The editorial page is tighter and more premium than the current page and the form is genuinely wired. Recommend publishing it over #9286 (with the #9286 backup as rollback). Two brand-token deviations to decide on: it uses Fraunces serif display font and a warmer orange #D97706 instead of strict site Poppins-only + #F89C22. On a specialty/landing page fonts are flexible, so this is a judgment call, not a defect.

Why the session paused

The live BSG page is a protected, header-linked page; per deployer rules and Sam's own destructive-action rule, the final overwrite is gated on Sam's go. Everything else is complete and staged.

Recommended next actions

1. Sam reviews draft #71146 (admin preview) and picks: publish as-is / align brand tokens first / hold.
2. On approval: GET #9286 (already backed up), POST editorial content to #9286 keeping status publish, then run a live form-submission test and visual QA.
3. Delete preview page #71146 after the swap (or keep as staging).
