What was done
- Daily pulse over the SAIL Knowledge Base. v3 REST paged query walked all 8 buckets to completion with zero cap hits, so totals are true. Report mirrored to the Codex archive, the workspace folder, and the QA queue.
Snapshot (backlog as of 2026-05-31T11:20:28Z)
- Total unique entries (deduped): 575
- Active: 280. Needs Follow-up: 240 (live). In Progress: 36. Complete: 17.
- Stale Active (last edit over 7 days): 261. New entries in last 24 hours: 43.
- The Needs Follow-up live count reconciles with the summed needs_fu buckets and Active with the summed active buckets. The v3.1.0 deep-bucket coverage fix is holding.
Why the session ended
- Completed. The scheduled task ran end to end and the deliverable was produced and verified.
Importance level
- Routine and informational. No outage, no cap hits, no data-integrity defect. Marked Needs Follow-up only because three findings await Sam's input.
Task status
- Done for the run itself. Pending items are recommendations, not blockers.
Process note
- The Linux sandbox restarted mid-run and the tool-result channel was intermittently unstable. Early interim numbers seen through that channel were wrong and were discarded. The run was redone cleanly and every output file was verified by re-reading it.
Recommended next actions (open QA findings)
- The v3 helper vault parser missed NOTION_API_KEY during the restart window even though the key is present in vault.env; the key was exported for the authoritative run. Recommend hardening the vault read with quote and CRLF tolerance, one retry, and a status flag.
- Environment instability (sandbox restart plus intermittent tool channel) is a reliability risk for unattended tasks. Recommend a verify-after-write convention and/or migrating this task to a cloud-resident runner.
- Backlog: Stale Active is 261 of 280 Active and Needs Follow-up is 240. Recommend a triage pass plus a day-over-day backlog trend line in the pulse.
