De-duplicate assets in Eve.legal: (1) native Central Library duplicates with no person attribution, and (2) duplicates within Sam's own (S-attributed) agent set. Out of scope: any asset attributed to another team member; the Aaliyah Dailey and Brenda Murphy live matters.
Walked all 9 Central Library collections and all 34 Sam-owned agents. Confirmed live state of every asset before acting (the handoff was partly stale — see below). Saved evidence to a local folder before every deletion.
Every case-type folder held a firm KRE 408 demand template as both a .docx and a .pdf export of that same .docx. Per Sam's standing rule (prefer .docx as canonical) the .pdf was deleted and the .docx kept. Each pair was content-verified page-by-page before deletion; the deleted PDF's content is fully preserved in the retained DOCX, so no content was lost.
| # | Folder | Deleted | Kept | Why |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Demand Design and Rules | KY_Verdict_Data.docx.pdf | Library_KY_Verdict_Data.docx | Same KY verdict data, two formats |
| 2 | BI Demand Templates | Demand_Template_BI_.pdf | Demand_Template_BI_.docx | Same KRE 408 BI template, two formats |
| 3 | Trucking Demand Templates | Demand_Template_Trucking.docx.pdf | Demand_Template_Trucking_.docx | Same trucking template, two formats |
| 4 | UM Demand Templates | Demand_Template_UM.docx.pdf | Demand_Template_UM_.docx | Same UM template, two formats |
| 5 | Premises Demands | Demand_Template_Premises.docx.pdf | Demand_Template_Premises_.docx | Same premises template, two formats |
| 6 | Dog Bite Demand Templates | Demand_Template_DogBite.pdf | Demand_Template_Dog_Bite.docx | Same dog-bite template, two formats |
| 7 | UIM Demand Templates | Demand_Template_UIM.docx.pdf | Demand_Template_UIM_.docx | Same UIM template, two formats |
Commercial MVA Demand Templates had no duplicate (only folder without a .pdf twin). Verdict Info has a single file — no within-folder duplicate.
The handoff is partly stale — these named duplicates no longer exist (one copy each remains, likely de-duped by another agent/process or never truly duplicated):
Library_Core_Rules.docx — handoff said it appeared twice; only one copy exists now.Demand_Template_BI_.docx — handoff said it appeared twice; live state was a .docx + .pdf pair (handled as row 2 above), not two .docx.Case Overview and Evaluation, Discovery Plan, Discovery Response Analysis — handoff said each appeared twice; only one of each exists now. Both involve operational, shared agents. Eve agent deletion is permanent. Per the handoff's own rule (assets that differ → do not delete → hold for Sam), these were documented, not retired:
1. demand-style-UIM appears twice (both Sam-owned). Both have empty instructions; they differ only in example documents. Agent A carries Example_Demand_Commercial.docx (a mismatched Commercial demand) + Estep_Demand_Revised (4).docx. Agent B carries the correct Example_Demand_UIM.docx + Demand_Template_UIM_.docx. Recommendation: keep Agent B, retire Agent A (its Commercial example would produce wrong-styled UIM output).
2. gap-analysis-medical-billing vs Gap-analysis-medical-bills (both Sam-owned). Both find missing medical bills in a case file — heavy overlap. gap-analysis-medical-billing is the more developed (schema-driven, baseline-comparison logic). Recommendation: consolidate to one (likely keep gap-analysis-medical-billing) and rename cleanly.
