Session Summary

Rebuilt the UPS Flight 2976 Hearing Update Kit blog post and Party Accountability Visual into the firm's current SA template / SA design system, and reconciled 7 refreshed design/QA skills into the canonical skill library.

Importance: High — touches an active UPS Cases matter and a live skills-library version conflict.

What was done

Design skills reconciliation (Part A)

• Reconciled 7 skills from Documents/Projects/Design Elements - Current against the canonical library Documents/Projects/Skills/: pre-publish-qa, sa-design-system, toc-design, sa-review-slider, sa-fee-calc-static, sa-cta-image-banner, sa-case-results-ticker.
• For 6 skills the SKILL.md was byte-identical to canonical; staged the previously-missing references/ and assets/ folders additively.
• Deduped Design Elements - Current: dropped the " 2"/"(1)" suffixes and deleted 7 confirmed-duplicate loose files (SKILL (18).md, structure-and-components (1).md, and 5 loose guidance .md files identical to pre-publish-qa/references/). The folder is now a clean set of 7 correctly-named skill folders.
• All originals backed up to Skills/_archive/reconcile-backup-2026-05-25/ with a RECONCILE-LOG-2026-05-25.md.
• Note: the live Cowork plugin skills directory was read-only this session, so staging went into the git-backed canonical library only (not committed).

Blog post + visual rebuild (Part B)

• Rebuilt UPS Flight 2976 - Blog Post.html into a deploy-ready SA-template Kadence Custom HTML block (post type = post): hero + Visible Depth overlay, On This Page TOC dropdown, left-orange-border snippet, sidebar with one Call Now, 7 modern components, BlogPosting + FAQPage JSON-LD, blog-post-specific CSS, WordPress anti-corruption clean.
• Rebuilt UPS Flight 2976 - Party Accountability Visual.html with SA design tokens (4 party cards, 6-up stat strip, 20-year timeline).
• QA fixes during review: broken /contact/ link corrected to the real /contact-us/; schema URL corrected to the site's real root pattern; stat strip reworked palette-clean; em dashes removed; CTA labels corrected; Related Content block added with 4 verified live internal links.
• Both rebuilt in place; originals backed up to _backup-original-2026-05-25/. A Rebuild & QA Report was saved beside them.

Why the session ended

Scope complete. Ending normally, with open decisions surfaced to Sam inline.

Open items / decisions pending

1. pre-publish-qa version conflict. The canonical library already held v4.1.1-local-merged (2026-05-23) — newer than the uploaded v4.0 (2026-05-21). v4.0's 5 reference files were staged additively (4.1.1's own header noted its references were missing); the v4.0 SKILL.md was NOT overwritten. Both versions are preserved in Skills/_archive/reconcile-backup-2026-05-25/CONFLICT-pre-publish-qa/. Decision: keep 4.1.1 + v4.0 refs, adopt v4.0 wholesale, or hand-merge to v4.2.
2. Featured / hero image for the blog post is not set — the only hard deploy blocker. Hero, CTA banner, and schema reference the placeholder ups-flight-2976-ntsb-hearing.webp.
