Removed active Ghost OS local footprints from the Projects workspace after Sam approved deletion. The main repo at /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/Repos/ghost-os and the nested infrastructure copy at /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/Repos/sail-infrastructure/mcp-servers/ghost-os were moved out of active paths into rollback archive /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/admin/rollback/ghost-os-removal-20260517-141955/.
Updated active references so future agents do not treat Ghost OS as expected: AGENT-TOOL-MANIFEST.md, FOLDER-INDEX.md, Repos/README.md, Skills/folder-hygiene-guardian/SKILL.md, routines-build/routines/local-mac/folder_hygiene/check.sh, routines-build/scripts/skill_surface_check.py, and both canonical/Claude Scheduled skills-scheduled-mirror-sync copies.
Marked the two older Ghost OS Notion records as retired and added top-of-page retirement notices:
Also corrected the prior skill-surface sync Notion page so it no longer lists Ghost OS as a covered active surface.
Verified the active Ghost OS directories no longer exist under Projects/Repos/ghost-os or Repos/sail-infrastructure/mcp-servers/ghost-os. Ran rg across active Projects docs excluding rollback/archive paths; the only active reference left is the retirement notice in AGENT-TOOL-MANIFEST.md. Ran python3 routines-build/scripts/skill_surface_check.py --markdown and python3 -m py_compile routines-build/scripts/skill_surface_check.py; both passed with 9 surfaces checked and 0 missing surfaces. Ran folder hygiene; it still reports unrelated preexisting root, credential-shaped-file, and Repos _worktrees violations, but Ghost OS is no longer the Repos drift item.
Complete. Ghost OS is removed from active local paths and no longer presented as an active tool in the manifest/surface checker. Rollback remains available if needed.
A future agent can decide whether to hard-delete the rollback archive after a retention window, and separately handle the unrelated folder hygiene report at /Users/samaguiar/Documents/Projects/admin/session_logs/folder-hygiene-2026-05-17.md.
Requested removal was completed, active references were cleaned, Notion was corrected, and QA was performed.
Do not recreate Repos/ghost-os from older Notion handoffs. Those pages now have retirement notices and should be treated as historical only.
