13 GB of regenerable cache was identified, isolated, and staged for deletion across 12 directories. No critical user data (Photos, Music, Contacts, Mail bodies, sessions, cookies) was touched. Run was unattended, scheduled, and below the 30 GB warning threshold.
The staging-folder fallback was used because rm is blocked inside the Cowork sandbox mount during scheduled, unattended runs. All targeted caches were moved to ~/Library/Caches/_to_delete_2026-05-10/ and are ready to be removed by a native launchd job or by Sam manually.
Actual disk reclaimed at the OS level: 0 GB until the staging folder is hard-deleted. The data still lives on the same volume after mv.
