What we collect
- Location: With your permission, we use your precise location to show
bars and happy hour deals near you and to estimate walking distance.
Location data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- Account info: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your
email address and a unique user identifier from those providers.
- User content: Venue suggestions and "outdated deal" reports you submit
are stored on our servers, linked to your account.
How we use it
- To run the core features of the app (finding nearby happy hours,
collecting your suggestions and reports).
- We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
Third parties
- Authentication: Apple and Google (only when you sign in with them).
- Backend: Supabase, our database provider, stores your account record,
suggestions, and reports under industry-standard encryption.
Account deletion
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from
inside the app: profile menu → Delete account.
Children
- TappyHour is intended for users 21 and older. We do not knowingly
collect data from anyone under 13.
