Session date: 2026-05-01

Status: IN PROGRESS — research done, draft NOT yet written

Next agent priority: Write SB 195 article draft, show Sam, THEN sitewide cleanup

Site: aguiarinjurylawyers.com (WordPress on Cloudways, Kadence theme, RankMath)

1. Session Overview

Continuation of a multi-day legacy-bug remediation project across 524 SA-template pages on aguiarinjurylawyers.com. 183 pages were already touched by an earlier bulk script (remediate.py) that turned out to have multiple bugs. While Sam was QAing the touched pages, he flagged additional sitewide problems (legal-primer boilerplate, leading-article headers) that got locked into skills as new rules.

The session pivoted mid-stream when Sam landed on the SB 195 tort-reform page (/kentucky-sb-195-tort-reform-2026/) and said it "misses the mark" — over-states what the bill actually does, reads like SEO marketing fluff rather than authority content. He explicitly said: "the point of this is authority. Not SEO fluff. get it right. use perplexity. stay away from things not in it. write it more like an article and educate versus iterate."

That SB 195 rewrite is now the immediate next deliverable, blocking the sitewide cleanup pass.

2. Sam's Concerns (Verbatim, in order)

  1. Snippet border (UNRESOLVED, real bug — do NOT mark fine): "that blue border is not supposed to be around the snippet." The snippet must have a LEFT vertical orange border ONLY (border-left: 4px solid #f89c22). No top, right, or bottom border. Any navy/blue border on top/right/bottom is a defect. The previous agent (me) wrongly logged this as a false alarm. It is not. Verify with Sam before treating any snippet styling as correct.
  2. Double checkmarks: "there are two check marks versus one here" — confirmed real bug from inject_sidebar_checkmarks not being idempotent.
  3. Empty white-on-white blocks: "this is an empty block. cmon now. how many pages and posts did you touch and damage?" — confirmed real bug from patch_box_inner('sa-callout', '#FFFFFF') falsely matching sa-callout-light.
  4. Boilerplate comparative-fault primer: "this is boilerplate comparative fault junk. no linking. just cookie cutter topic that somehow finds its where sitewide everywhere when AI models want to use space. get it out of there. and update notes and skills that no comparative fault or statutes of limitation go on anything else as FAQ or fluff." — locked into website-rules-new §12B + pre-publish-qa.
  5. Leading-article headers: "AI models love to use THE as the first word in a title or as a second line to a title. get rid of that habit and THE in these headers at the beginning" — locked into website-rules-new §12C + pre-publish-qa.
  6. SB 195 page over-states the bill: "this article also misses the mark. it over-exaggerates the bill and what was actually passed and the implications. the point of this is authority. Not SEO fluff. get it right. use perplexity. stay away from things not in it. write it more like an article and educate versus iterate."
