The original verifier appended ?_v={random} as a cache-bust query param. Every single one of the 19 fetched pages returned the WordPress 404 template ("Oops! That page can't be found."). Confirmed by grep across all 19 captured verify-html/{id}.html files.
Suspected cause: Cloudflare WAF or RankMath canonical handling rejecting unknown query params on canonical page URLs and serving the 404 template.
Fix: Wrote scripts/Verify-Live-NoCacheBust.ps1 — no query-string cache-bust, uses Pragma: no-cache and Cache-Control: no-cache headers instead, plus an is_404 flag in the JSON output so this trap surfaces immediately on future runs.
Action for Sam: Run & "C:\Users\SAguiar\Documents\Codex\image-audit-2026-04-30\scripts\Verify-Live-NoCacheBust.ps1" when convenient. The deploys themselves are confirmed by HTTP 200 PUT responses with fresh modified_gmt.
Cowork sandbox /tmp filled up at the very end of the analysis pass, blocking new Bash calls. Did not affect deploys (which were already complete). Remaining work was finished via direct file Read/Write/Edit. Not a deploy risk; flag for Cowork housekeeping next session.
