TL;DR: Sayso has two parts — a webapp and a desktop app. After installing, you launch the Coach from the webapp or from the bolt icon in your tray.

Two ways to launch the Coach

ONE: From the webapp (app.asksayso.com): Click the Launch Coach button. The widget opens on your desktop.

TWO: From your tray bar: Look near the top-right of your screen where your time and wifi icons live. Click the ⚡ bolt icon, then click Launch Coach. The widget opens.

Keep the bolt visible

Your tray gets crowded fast. Hold ⌘ Command and drag the bolt to the right so it stays visible no matter what else is running.

Can't find the bolt?

If the bolt isn't showing in your tray:

  1. Open your Applications folder
  2. Find the Sayso icon and open the app
  3. You'll see it in your dock at the bottom of your screen

To keep Sayso in your dock:

  1. Right-click the Sayso icon in the dock
  2. Click Options
  3. Click Keep in Dock

Updates

If the widget isn't launching or acts strangely, you're probably due for an update. Look for update notifications inside the app.

Your first step for any troubleshooting should be to completely quit the app and reopen it.
