TL;DR: Sayso comes in two builds — Intel and Apple Silicon. Check your Mac type first, then download the matching build, drag to Applications, open. Accept all the permissions that pop up. It takes 1 minute to download if you know your Mac type.

Step 1: Check which Mac you have

Sayso has two separate builds. If you notice the app not working, you may have downloaded the wrong version.

To check your Mac:

1. Click the  Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen
2. Click About This Mac
3. Look at the Chip (or Processor) line

Step 2: Pick the right build

If Chip says Apple M1, M2, M3, or M4:

Download the Apple Silicon build.

If it says Processor or Core or Intel:

Download the Intel build.

Not sure? If you bought your Mac in late 2020 or later, it's almost certainly Apple Silicon. If it's from 2019 or earlier, it's Intel.

Step 3: Download

Go to app.asksayso.com, log in, and click Download. Then click the build that matches your Mac. Your file will land in your Downloads folder.

Step 4: Install

1. Open your Downloads folder
2. Double-click the Sayso installer
