Chef AI (“App”) provides recipe suggestions, generates AI-powered recipes, and personalizes the user experience. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, why we process it, how we share it (if applicable), and your rights.

1. What data do we process? Chef AI may process the following types of data:

A) Device Identifier (UUID)

• The App generates and stores a device UUID to identify your device.
• This UUID is used to track usage limits, verify premium status, and associate saved recipes with your device.

B) Recipe Requests (Text)

• Any text you enter in the App (e.g., “Give me a 500-calorie chicken recipe”) may be processed and sent to our server to generate recipe suggestions.

C) Photos (Optional)

• The App offers photo input to identify ingredients and suggest recipes.
• Photos may be transmitted to our server only for the purpose of generating recipe suggestions.
• Photo access is entirely permission-based and controlled by you.

D) Subscription / Premium Status

• Premium verification is based on purchases made through the App Store.
• The App may send purchase verification data (e.g., transaction verification token/JWS) to our server when needed.
• The App does not access or store your Apple ID.

E) Saved Recipes (Premium Feature)

• Premium users can save recipes.
• Saved recipes may be stored on our server and linked to your device UUID.
