Privacy Policy for Cio Browser Effective Date: April 7, 2026

At Cio Browser, we believe that your browsing habits are your own business. We built this app with a privacy-first approach. This policy outlines how your data is handled when you use Cio Browser.

  1. Data Collection and Usage Cio Browser does not track, collect, or transmit your personal browsing history, search queries, or bookmarks to our servers or any third parties. All browsing data is stored locally on your device.
  2. Incognito Mode When using Incognito Mode, Cio Browser does not save your browsing history, cookies, site data, or information entered in forms. Furthermore, Incognito tabs can be secured using your device's native Face ID or Touch ID via Apple's Local Authentication framework. Biometric data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
  3. Ad and Tracker Blocking Cio Browser utilizes local content blocking rules to prevent ads and known trackers from loading. The calculation of how many ads or trackers have been blocked is processed and stored strictly on your device.
  4. Third-Party Search Engines Cio Browser allows you to choose your preferred default search engine (e.g., Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing). When you perform a search, your query is sent to the respective search engine. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of the search engine you choose to use.
  5. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page.
