Session Overview

Sam reported that location pages had broken hero sections. Two examples given: Leitchfield and Somerset. A full audit of all 57 published location pages was completed April 7, 2026. Twelve pages have broken heroes across four problem categories. One additional page (sam-car-accidents) had a Kadence CSS leak and duplicate FAQ, also fixed this session.

What Was Accomplished

Full Audit (57 pages)

All published location pages (children of ID 30757) were fetched with context=edit and categorized by hero type. Results at /tmp/location_hero_audit.json.

sam-car-accidents Fix (ID 7053)

The page had leftover Kadence blocks after the SA template content ended. These blocks had Kadence CSS selectors stored as HTML-encoded > entities, which decoded to visible text inside wp:html. There was also a duplicate RankMath FAQ block below the SA template FAQ.

Fix applied: Removed everything from onward. SA template hero, trust bar, content grid, sidebar, FAQ, and CTA are all intact. Deployed as status=publish. Backup at /tmp/sam_car_backup/7053_*.txt.

WP Rocket

WP Rocket is NOT causing these hero problems. The data-bg lazy-load behavior is expected and correct. The !important inline style approach handles RUCSS. No WP Rocket setting changes required.
