Session Overview

Sam asked for two custom HTML blocks for the aguiarinjurylawyers.com homepage: a "Meet Our Attorneys" section and a "Client Success Stories" video testimonial section. Both were designed as WordPress Custom HTML blocks with embedded CSS, matching the SA brand (navy #0B212D, orange #f89c22, Poppins 500-700). Both blocks were iterated on multiple times based on Sam's feedback and deployed live to the homepage (page ID 10) via the WordPress REST API.

The session also revealed that the homepage content was being edited outside of this session (likely by Craig or another editor). The page content shrank from 188k to 119k chars between pushes, and the attorney block was replaced with a completely different template using .sa-team classes and a 5-column grid instead of the 6-column .sa-att version we built.

What Was Accomplished

1. Client Success Stories Block (Deployed Live)

Built a custom HTML block replacing the existing inline-styled video testimonial section. The original was bare-bones: just two video thumbnails with red YouTube play buttons and centered text labels.

The new version includes:

• "REAL CLIENTS. REAL RESULTS." section label with orange decorative lines
• "Client Success Stories" heading with "Success" in orange
• Subheading: "Hear directly from the people we've won for."
• Two video cards (McCrae and Tammy) with glass-morphism card treatment
• Standard YouTube-style play buttons (dark rounded rectangle, turns red on hover) per Sam's request
• Card hover effects: lift, orange border glow, deep shadow, thumbnail zoom
• Names centered below videos with "ACTUAL CLIENT" in orange uppercase
• Trust badges row: 4.9/5.0 Google Reviews, 40+ Seven and Eight Figure Results, Flat 35% Never Increases
• Click-to-load YouTube iframe pattern (facade for performance)
• Keyboard accessible, responsive at 900px and 600px
• All text white (never gray), font weights 500-700 only
