These Terms of Use (hereinafter, the "Terms of Use" or "Terms") govern access to and use of our services through the VoiceBook AI iOS mobile application (hereinafter, the "Service" or "Services"), which enables users to record, upload, and process audio files and YouTube videos to generate transcriptions, summaries, translations, quizzes, flashcards, and AI chat interactions.
As used in these Terms of Use, "User", "You", "Your", or "Yourself" refers to you, the person using the Services and accepting the Terms.
"VoiceBook AI," "We," "Us," and "Our" means VoiceBook AI and its affiliates.
"Platform" refers to our mobile application through which You may access our Services.
"User Data" means all information, data, sound recordings, video URLs, and text that is submitted, posted, or otherwise transmitted by the User through the Services, including (a) audio recordings uploaded or recorded via the App, (b) YouTube video URLs provided by the User, and (c) the transcriptions, summaries, translations, quizzes, flashcards, and chat responses generated by the Services based on the foregoing materials.
Access to the Services requires acceptance of these Terms of Use by Users. We ask that Users read them carefully before using the Services. If You do not accept these Terms of Use, We ask that You abstain from using the Services.
We may modify these Terms at any time without prior notification. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
No Account Required: You do not need to create a specific user account with VoiceBook AI to use the Services. Your access is tied to your Apple ID and the local installation on your device. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your device and your Apple ID credentials.
Age Capacity: By accessing or using the Services, You declare that you are 18 years or older (or the age of legal majority in the country you reside) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the audio recordings you upload, the YouTube URLs you provide, and the content generated (transcripts, summaries, translations, quizzes, flashcards, and chat responses) ("User Content").
Temporary License for Processing: By submitting User Content, You grant Us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, transfer, process, and modify such content solely as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., sending audio to our AI providers for transcription and summarization).
Data Retention and Deletion Policy: We prioritize your privacy. The Service operates on a "Local-First" model.
