Four things. Pay attention to all four.
1. /loop — Claude runs on repeat, automatically Type /loop and Claude Code runs your prompt on a schedule. Default is every 10 minutes. You can set it to whatever you want. This means you can tell Claude to check your inbox, process new data, monitor a workflow — and it just... keeps going. No cron setup. No server. Just /loop.
2. Cron jobs — now built directly into the tool Three new commands: CronCreate, CronList, CronDelete. Standard 5-field cron expressions. You can schedule Claude tasks the same way developers schedule server jobs — except you don't need to know how to set up a server. Type what you want to happen and when. Done.
3. Voice mode — talk to Claude Code out loud /voice toggles push-to-talk. You speak. Claude builds. Currently in beta — only about 5% of users have it right now. Anthropic is rolling it out gradually over the next few weeks. If /voice doesn't do anything when you type it, you're not in the rollout yet — hang tight, it's coming.
4. Telegram + Discord — Claude in your chat apps claude-code-telegram connects Claude Code to your Telegram bot. cc-connect bridges it to Discord. You can now trigger Claude Code automations directly from your phone. Text your bot, get work done. That's the whole pitch.
Let's be real about what just happened.
OpenClaw built its entire identity around being the "always-on" agentic Claude alternative. The thing that runs in the background. The thing with integrations. The autonomous setup.
Claude Code just shipped every single one of those features.
And OpenClaw had a CVE — CVE-2026-25253 — remote code execution vulnerability, CVSS score 8.8. That's not a bug. That's a liability. You don't want that running autonomously on your machine or your VPS.
