About Bits&Letters

Bits&Letters is a boutique design engineering studio specializing in scalable websites and content systems for Series A–B companies. We work with modern stacks (Astro, Next.js, Sanity CMS, headless architectures) and focus on building websites as systems — not just pages, but structured content, component libraries, and deployment pipelines that our clients' teams can actually maintain.

Our founder brings 25+ years of development experience and a decade of product management at companies like Adobe, Google, Stripe, and Webflow. We're small by design: a principal-led studio with a network of specialist contractors. Our clients include healthcare companies, developer tool companies, and other mid-market organizations with projects typically ranging from $25K–$150K.

We’re a growing, founder-led studio. We value clear thinking, direct communication, and craftsmanship. If you're someone who gets satisfaction from making complicated projects run smoothly, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role

We're looking for a fractional Project Manager to work 10–20 hours per week, with the potential to scale to full-time as the business grows.

You'll be the organized layer between our founder (who leads client relationships, technical architecture, and project strategy) and everything else: contractors, timelines, deliverables, and the operational details that keep projects running smoothly. You won't be managing clients autonomously — our direct relationship with clients is part of our value proposition — but you will be a key part of how those clients experience working with us.

What You'll Do
