Location
- Physical venue where exposures occur
- Examples: restaurant, hospital, school, workplace, residence
- Has address and geocoded coordinates
- Can link to an Organization
Event
- Time-bounded gathering at a location
- Examples: wedding, conference, party
- Must link to a Location
- Has start/end date/time and estimated attendees
Difference
- Location = place (ongoing)
- Event = gathering at a place (specific time)
