I go by the name Monalisa Tonasi, though most people shorten it however they like. Any pronouns are fine with me. Somewhere in my twenties, quietly surviving late nights, unread messages, and thoughts that never really know when to stop.

Music changes depending on the hour. Some days it’s alternative rock, Korean hip-hop, and songs that feel too loud for midnight drives. Other days, it’s softer playlists that sound like rainy streets, fading memories, and quiet comfort. My current rotation has been filled with artists that somehow understand every version of me.

Films are another comfort of mine. I collect stories the same way people keep old letters—quietly, sentimentally, and maybe a little obsessively. My Letterboxd favorites change constantly depending on what kind of emotions I’m willing to revisit.

And when reality starts feeling a little too heavy, I disappear into anime worlds for a while. Adventure, tragedy, found family tropes—anything that makes fiction feel more honest than real life sometimes.

As for this space, I keep it intentional. I prefer genuine conversations, mutual energy, and people who know how to respect boundaries. No unnecessary drama, no forced connections—just good music, late-night thoughts, and quietly existing together on the same side of the internet.

There’s probably more to know, but I think I’ll leave some things unsaid for now. Mystery makes everything a little more interesting, doesn’t it?
