Welcome to Lens Clear ("we," "our," or "us"). We accept that your privacy is a top priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application "Lens Clear" on iOS.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Image Processing & Third-Party AI Services

Lens Clear uses Cloud-Based AI Processing.

To provide high-quality glare removal and image enhancement, our App utilizes Fal.ai, a third-party Artificial Intelligence inference platform.

• Data Transmission: When you choose to edit a photo, the image data is securely transmitted to Fal.ai's cloud servers for processing.
• Purpose: The sole purpose of this transmission is to analyze the image, detect glare or obstructions, and generate a clearer version of the photo using AI models hosted on Fal.ai.
• No Permanent Storage: We do not store your original or edited photos on our servers. Images sent to Fal.ai are used transiently for the processing task (inference) and are not retained after the result is generated.

3. Face Data Policy (Specific Disclosure)

Since our App specializes in removing glare from glasses, we naturally interact with images containing human faces. In compliance with Apple’s guidelines, here is our specific policy regarding Face Data:

• What Face Data do we collect?

  We collect facial images that you voluntarily select from your library or capture via camera. The App identifies the location of faces, eyes, and eyeglasses within the image to target the glare removal effect.

• How do we use Face Data?

  Face data is used exclusively to perform the "Lens Clear" function. The AI analyzes the facial structure to distinguish between the eye, the skin, and the glare on the lenses to reconstruct the area behind the glare.

• Is Face Data shared with third parties?

  Yes. As mentioned in Section 2, the image data (containing the face) is sent to Fal.ai API for processing. We do not share this data with data brokers, advertising networks, or any other unauthorized third parties.

• How long is Face Data retained?

  • On our end: We do not retain your face data on any external servers. The edited image is returned directly to your device.
  • On the Third-Party Processor (Fal.ai): Data sent to the API is processed in memory for the duration of the inference and is not retained after the response is generated.

• User Consent:

  Before processing any image, the App asks for your explicit permission to send the data to our AI provider (Fal.ai).
