AlgoUniversity is a YCombinator-backed ed-tech startup, building products and services that help early-stage engineers in landing their dream careers. We offer live classes, industry-relevant projects, and learning products that prepare learners for tech jobs at top tech companies.
3 years ago, we started off on a mission to democratize education. We believe that anyone with skills should be able to teach, and anyone who wants to learn should be able to access the resources. We are therefore building and working on a wide range of products and services, to help education at scale.
We are backed by the world’s best tech accelerator, YCombinator. We raised a first round of 1mil $ and share the alumni of companies like Airbnb, Meesho, Razorpay, and more!
This means that we have access to mentorship from some of the biggest names in the startup world. Founder of Yahoo Tim Bradley and CEO of Twitch Michael Seibel are our direct mentors and are invested in our success now.

We house a young energetic team of ACM ICPC world finalists, Olympiad medalists (won a total of 4 medals for India!), and engineers from Google, Apple and Microsoft. Our core team is from IIIT-Hyderabad, and the rest are from IIT-Bombay, and IIM-Ahaemadabad.
