We’re partnering with Uniswap for this one! Here is a quick overview of Uniswap v2, and the main concepts we’re going to cover:

This course is for all levels:

• If you’re a beginner, focus on understanding how the EVM concepts tie to the query and table logic. Focus on what each column represents, and how they’re joined to other tables to enhance them.
• If you’re advanced, think about what other tables and approaches we could have used to accomplish the same tasks. There are usually at least one or two other ways to write the query.
• If you’re an expert, try all the bonus point questions/suggestions (hidden in hints). 🙂

This course uses the new DuneSQL engine:

You can still use spark SQL if you want, but DuneSQL will be much faster. If you’re learning to use our DuneSQL engine, you can reference:

• tips and tricks and blogpost

• the day 0 wizard guide (below)

• their great documentation to get started or find useful functions

• the book below for a more descriptive walkthrough of Dune SQL (beginners starting on page 187, advanced starting at 201). We’ll have a Dune-specific beg/adv guide soon after the course!
