Hey Gitcoiners - Come join the CoordiNATION Game!

What is Gitcoin? 🤷‍♀️

Gitcoin is a powerful online platform and vibrant community that has funded over $50M worth of open source software, climate solutions, decentralized science and other impact initiatives. The problem is, most people and organizations don’t know how to get onto Gitcoin and therefore can’t access the funding or actually support the projects! It requires a high technical ability most people don’t have…

That’s where community activation stations come in.

Activation stations 🗳

It’s like a polling station, but instead of casting a vote on a ballot you show up to a co-working space or other community venue in your city and get support from experts who can help you get setup in Gitcoin in less than 30 minutes.

The process is quite simple: All you need to do is install a simple browser extension or mobile app, deposit funds, verify your identity and donate to your favorite projects! Once you’ve donated to a project, you can then also create your own project to get funded in the next Gitcoin round—which runs every single quarter!

The power of Gitcoin cannot be understated, and given the complex web of crises we face as a society, we need access to as many open, democratic and effective funding mechanisms we can possibly get!

In-Person + Online

Each event is organized by a number of different online communities that have begun gathering into specific cities to meet regularly and work towards a shared mission of ‘regeneration’.
