v0.2

Synchronous Respect Tree (SRT) game is a method for fractal organizations to:

Community playing this game over the period of two weeks should produce consensus on topic(s) and sub-topics. This can later be used when creating agendas for community meetings.

This is not intended to be a standalone method to determine agendas as different outcomes of this game might ask for different meeting structures, and sometimes there might be urgent topics that this game cannot cover. However for the game to work optimally, winning topics and sub-topics should normally get some time in community meetings and they should get more time than loosing topics.

A topic and sub-topics can be anything at all: areas for research, questions, issues, tasks, proposals to pass. Also they can be as abstract or as concrete as needed. What is a sub-topic for one meeting can become a topic for the next (if community wants to go deeper).

The first week is for selecting topics and the second week for sub-topics. The potential of this game (to focus contributions, improve quality of discussions and Respect game), lies in the fact that after selecting a topic in the first week, contributors compete to create the best sub-topic. So if a topic raises a problem, the selected sub-topic will offer the best solution or the best next question to ask. Respect game session after the session (2 weeks) of this game fits here perfectly, as it incentivizes participation in the game and discussions by awarding Respect.
