the only reason you haven't heard of them is that the Big Bad Monopolistic Incs OWN AND OPERATE the tools you'd normally rely on to search them out and Tech Journalism has literally moved in with the people they're needed to keep in check. (they all live in California)

As I noted in Update Log, I just installed the most beta version of an in-development File Manager for Windows 10 and set my precious File Manager ‣ key to open a new window of it. I thought it was a good time to create a System Restore point. Also, it seems the groggy performance I have been experiencing over the past few days was indeed on Hildur, herself, and not a symptom of some network bullshit - I conceded and ran CCleaner's most End User default Make my pc better task and it seems to have resolved shit.
