• What is FLYX? Why is FLYX in Bakstage?

  Bakstage is built on top of and an extension of FLYX app. While Bakstage helps you have audio conversation about movies, shows, sports, tech, news, finance etc, FLYX helps you find interesting streaming movies and shows to watch.

• What are the dos and don’ts of a voice room as a speaker and listener?

  Please check Bakstage community guidelines for full details about dos and don'ts as speaker and listener.

• How can I invite my friends into a conversation?

  There are multiple ways to invite a friend into a conversation:

  1. Inside voice room, click on invite friends button on bottom right. You can invite your followers by searching their name or text the link of voice room.
  2. Click on share button on top right of voice room. It will open options to share link of voice room with your friends.

• How do I make someone a speaker?

  As a moderator of a room, you can make someone speaker two ways:

  1. Click on raise hand button on bottom right, it will open speaker request list. Toggle button to make someone speaker. A pop-up request will go to listener to request join as speaker.
  2. In voice room click on profile pic of a listener, it will open listener's mini profile. Click on "Make Speaker" button to invite user as speaker.

• How do I make someone a moderator?

  A user has to be speaker to be promoted as moderator in a voice room. Click on speaker's profile pic to open mini-profile. Then click "Make Moderator" button to promote user as moderator.

• What are the differences between a moderator and a speaker?

  Moderator is a speaker in voice room with additional privileges to moderate conversation in a voice room:

  • Moderator can make someone listener to speaker and vice-versa
  • Moderator can make someone else moderator
  • Moderator can remove a user from voice room

• What is the difference between a Bakstage and a voice room?

  Bakstage a theme or topic against which voice rooms are created. Bakstage app currently supports thousands of Bakstages - movies, shows, location, social causes, politics, school & colleges etc. You can select a Bakstage in Step 1 of voice room creation process.

  Voice room is an audio space in which real conversations happens on a particular topic. You can invite your friends to a conversation or sententiously make new friends with common interest in a voice room.

• Can I stream a voice room to other live streaming providers?

  Currently ability to stream a voice room to other streaming providers is not available. We might consider to add this feature in future.
