Coca Cola Chicken

1 pound of chicken wings (can be a combination of wings, drums or the whole wing!)

2/3 cup water

1/3 cup Coca Cola

1 tbsp Soy sauce

1/2 tbsp Dark soy sauce

1 tbsp Cooking wine

1 tbsp Ginger, sliced thin

2 cloves Star anise


  1. Heat medium sized pan on stove top at high heat
  2. Add in chicken, all liquids and spices. The liquids should just over the chicken completely, so adjust the water as necessary.
  3. Bring pot to a boil, uncovered. Once boiling, turn the heat down to medium to medium-low and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Once the liquids have reduced to a thick sauce, it is ready to serve!
