We’re hiring software engineers who ship fast, build delightful products, and want to step into the arena in the fight against climate change.
The solution to climate change is to decarbonize the grid and electrify everything: make transportation, heating, and manufacturing electric, and then power them with clean electricity.
But there's a hitch: a grid powered by renewables only has lots of green electrons when the sun is shining and the wind is blowing.
We’re building software to move energy usage to times when electricity is cheap and green. Our software controls vehicle charging, heating systems, and home batteries. We use machine learning to figure out what energy people will need, and when they'll need it. We minimize CO2 and costs, and protect the grid by limiting peak demand.
We will have reached our goal when humanity stops burning dinosaur bones, and measure our success accordingly.
We’re Axle. You’d be working with our founders, Archy and Karl, and our small but mighty team. We like food, books, and being outdoors in a climate that’s not too different to what we have today. Feel free to say hello on LinkedIn or drop us an email.
We're hiring software engineers to help design and build our platform from scratch. You’ll be joining a team who know how to build and ship valuable products to fight climate change. We’ve recently closed a funding round with backing from leading VCs, and are growing the team to meet customer demand.

Our customers are companies who supply electricity or hardware to households. Our software is used by those companies to shift electricity demand and get paid for it by the market.
