Patient Types
New-To-Klinic
A patient’s very first appointment at Klinic for any service.
- They have never had any appointment or service at Klinic Medical.
- Requires full intake paperwork (general + service-specific).
- Visit is treated as an initial evaluation with extended time for history, assessment, and treatment planning.
New-To-Service
A patient who is already established at Klinic, but is starting a new service line (e.g., currently in SUD treatment(s) but now beginning Psychiatry & Mental Health treatment).
- They have a history with Klinic, but no prior visits for this specific service type.
- Requires service-specific intake paperwork only (not the general intake again).
- Visit is scheduled as an initial evaluation for the new service.
