Dynamic microphones excel at minimizing background and room noise. Avoid condenser microphones (especially the BM800) as they work best with phantom power, pick up more ambient noise and work better in treated studio environments. The best budget friendly microphones are the USB microphones, they come with an inbuilt audio interface and you can easily plug it into you’re pc and start recording but i haven’t used any of them so i will not include them here. I personally use the Shure SM58
A microphone stand with some type of boom extension is essential when streaming. It lets you position the mic perfectly for comfort and proper microphone position.

An audio interface or recorder is needed if you plan to record in-person and is not needed if you only plan to record remote. However, if you want to utilize an interface or mixer it does give you some additional features and capabilities even when recording remotely. All of the recommended microphone options allow you to connect directly to an audio interface via XLR/Mic Cable. An audio interface allows you to connect to your computer via USB and record directly to recording software. The RodeCaster and Zoom options also function as a stand alone recorder and allow you to record to a SD card.

If you want to level up your video quality, consider getting a dedicated professional camera like the Sony or Canon. However, one of the most affordable, options may be the camera on your phone.
Your recording environment plays a crucial role in audio quality. Choose a quiet room with minimal echo and background noise. For video, good lighting is essential - natural light from windows or affordable LED ring lights can dramatically improve your appearance.
