Review

meh. some of the chapters were interesting and gave a good overview of the current state of the world (ch 6-11) or had generally interesting points about humanity (ch 12-17, 19), but very few lasting insights and large chunks of it was stuff I knew from basic familiarity with the news/science/history. and some of his claims were overly simplistic/reductive, e.g. with regard to AI/technology. that said, trying to write a summary of "everything that is happening and will happen" is very hard so I can't blame him, and overall it was worth the read.
