Having an experimental mindset means seeing failures as data points that you can learn from. It means being open to making mistakes because you know you're going to learn from them. - BigThink

Reflection: Veganuary was a success! We spent quite a lot on unhealthy foods, but that’s okay because that will only happen in the beginning. We want to continue doing it! I feel much more aware of animal products now, and I like that I’m going back. It was also fun to try new recipes! The tracking app for the phone time was helpful, otherwise I wouldn’t have known how much I already managed to reduce my phone time (30 minutes less per day on average than in December!) However, I did stop putting my phone away as often as the month went on. That had to do with being sick a lot as well though. I did use the notebook a little in the beginning, but I want it to be even more, because I actually liked it a lot. I did manage to not watch YouTube while eating meals though, which was a success and I’m proud of it! I noticed that it gave me time to actually think about what I had been watching while I prepared the food and my mind was more engaged in the topic. That wasn’t really the point (I was going for being in the moment and being aware of the food) but it’s still nice.
